Andrew has amassed more than 20 years in both the IT/Consumer Electronics and related Service industries having previously held key management positions in organisations such as Sony, BT Cellnet, A Novo. Through these he has gathered an impressive worldwide contact network and personal reputation for market knowledge and service delivery. Aged 41, he joined Touch Logistics in January 2005 with a Business Development remit.

What challenges have you encountered with major companies?
OEMs, Service Providers and Retailers have looked for the design and delivery of robust Supply Chain and RMA solutions and these include BSkyB, Domestic & General, Sony, Samsung, LG, Philips and IBM among many others.

What drew you to Touch?
Having known Gary Piper and the Touch team for some 12 months prior to joining I was aware of the significant early growth and the substantial opportunities available using the Touch methodology and approach to service.

If you could choose ONE part of your job that particularly excites you, what would it be?
There are many factors of my role that particularly excite me, but the main one is that I'm empowered to develop new solutions, liaise with customers and establish new business relationships.

How do you see the market developing?
My belief is that in the mid term the sector will continue to grow as traditional OEM and service providers commoditise the more generic field technician requirements. Touch is well positioned to become the number one recognised partner of choice in that sector.
